Groceries Today

Grand total for everything: $48.46
 Today was a GREAT day!!!
I went to both Winco and Fred Meyer. Freddy's for the loss leaders:
Tuna 3/$1 x 9cans = $3
Jose Ole' $1.99 each x 2 =$3.98
Lean Cusine 5/$10 with in store coupon for 1 free when you buy 5 = 6/$10 + $1 off when you buy 5 manufacture coupon. =  $1.50 each x 6 = $9
Angel Soft TP for $1 each x 3 = $3
Breathe Right Nasel Strips for FREE with catalina = $0
Grand total after coupons = 18.98 at Fred Meyer

Winco is where I do my main shopping. I saw one of my readers there today and she told me she was "watching" me! But it was good to see her with her list and coupons in hand!

At Winco I got BOGO Minute Maid OJ $2.85 (printable coupon for "liking" them on Facebook, be sure to hit the back button and print a second time.)
Milk was $1.98 x 4 = $7.92
Kashi GoLean Cereal was $2.78 I had a $3.00 coupon from Vocalpoint = $0
Cheerios were $1.58 each x 3 = $4.74 with a $1 off when you buy 3 manufacture coupon. Total = $1.24 each or $3.74 for 3
Kellogs cereals were $1.98 x 3 = $5.94 with a $1 off when you buy 3 manufacture coupon. Total = $1.64 each or $4.94 for 3
The Libby's chunk pineapple was $.68 x2 =$1.36
cream cheese $1.18
Mayo $1.40
Del Monte ketchup. $.96 x 2 = $1.92
Bread was $1.38 x 3 =  $4.17

I always make sure to use my reusable grocery bags. This scores me $.06 off my total bill for each bag I use. I usually use between 8-10. This is like a "reusable" coupon for $.48-$.60 per trip. And I never paid for any of my bags.

Grand Total at Winco after COUPONS and bags = $ 29.00

  1. Thanks for linking up! I love how you are able to use reusable bags! My local grocery store doesn't offer anything like that - Atleast not that I know of! =)

  2. I have to pay for my reusable bags and I don't get any discount for using them, so other than an altrusic sense of doing good for the planet, I really don't see a reason to use them. Especially when I reuse / recycle the bags the store provides; either instead of buying trash can liners (another savings opportunity) or for bagging stuff up around the house and storing it temporarily, or even as padding in boxes/packages I mail instead of styrofoam peanuts.
