There are plenty of economical sources of food that also provide key nutrients.
Next time you go the grocery stock up on red kidney beans, frozen raspberries and prunes for cost-effective antioxidant sources; canned sockeye salmon, canned sardines and walnuts for your omega-3s; cottage cheese, canned tuna, tofu and quinoa for low-cost sources of protein; and bulgur wheat, barley and legumes for fiber.
