Today's Tidbits- Fun Summer activities!

Looking for something fun to do with the family this summer? If you live in the Rogue Valley there are a lot of activities you can do!

We are lucky to live in an area that has such great parks:

Bear Creek Park offers a large variety of activities such as a dog park, skate park and an amphitheatre. The dog park is a 2 acre fenced off-leash area with water, covered picnic table and natural track.  The skate park  is 24,000 sq. ft. facility and has various stairs, irregular shaped ramps, narrow arches, corner ramps and MORE, MORE, MORE. Elevated platforms surround the two bowls which drop down 7-9 ft. radius.

Railroad Park is a park that includes: full size cars, a caboose, and a working telegraph system to send and receive telegrams in the compound, and an operating outdoor Garden Railway.  You can ride miniature built to scale steam trains on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month
April thru October 11am - 3pm.
Ride for free, or you may make a donation to the club at that time.

Fichtner-Mainwaring Park is located in SW Medford and includes pathways, volleyball courts, basketball courts tennis courts, a play area, soccer fields, and restroom. It also includes a water play park! It is open for public use from 9am - 9pm seven days a week typically from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend, depending on weather patterns.

Come back on Thursday for more fun activites in the Rogue Valley!
