Today's Tidbits-- More Summer fun (part 2)

Looking for something fun to do with the family this summer? If you live in the Rogue Valley there are a lot of activities you can do! - Last time we talked about parks to visit.

Today here are a few other activites available here in the Rogue Valley.

Jackson County Libraries have summer reading programs. Children age 3-12 are invited to sign up at their local branch library for the Dream Big - Read. Kids can make a dream-catcher, learn about owls and bats, and enjoy a variety of programs, activities, and storytimes at libraries throughout the county. All children who read or listen to ten books will receive a special bookmark, and a reading certificate among other prizes.

Older kids can join the "Own the Night" program. Teens  will be asked to write a review to earn the chance to win one of 15 Kindle E-readers and other prizes.

Even adults can get in on the action! “Between the Covers” is the theme and along with reading 4 books and putting your name into a drawing for a prize at your local branch, there will be other activities!

Kids Time provides a fun yet educational experience, by offering a hands-on discovery space that stimulates brain development in young children.

Stay tuned for more activities tomorrow!
