Purex with Oxi

Recently Purex with Oxi sent me a sample to try.
I loved it!

I had some clothes with some blood on them and just a but of Purex with Oxi got the stain out.
Just pour a little Purex plus Oxi ont the stain, rub together and let set for 5 minutes, then wash as usual.

Easy, peasy and perfect for any machine.
I really love the ease, and low cost of Purex with Oxi and all Purex Products!

Purex provided me with a sample, but all the views are my own.

Works for Me Wednesday- Fridge Clutter:

My frig was getting to cluttered with pictures, magnets, take out menus and coupons. I couldn't handle it anymore so I decided to make a place for most of the papers.

I grabbed an old cereal box out of the recyeling box, and gave it a make over:
I cut it, glued on scrapbook paper and covered it.
I addeded some magnets on the back

added some words:
and my new organized spot on my frig:

That's what works for me!

Works for Me Wednesday- Scarves

Winter is coming and out come the scrarves!

I love my scarves and Pashminas, but how do you store them so that they stay nice and look great, and are readily available?

Here's what I did:
I took some shower curtain rings and a hanger and put the two together.
Then I took each scarve, and threaded it thru its very own ring! :)
Then hung them in my closet!
Easy, Peasy and they stay neat, off the floor. I can see what I have and get to them easily!

That's what works for me!

Earn Extra Cash

Looking for extra cash for the upcoming Holiday season? Don't have a lot of time? Here are a few things I do every morning to earn extra cash.

As you know, Swagbucks is one of my favorite ways to make a little extra. It's easy and free to do.

You can easily earn $5 per month in Amazon gift cards with almost no effort. However, if you want to earn more in a shorter time period, I highly recommend checking out Swagbucks TV — especially if you spend a lot of time working on the internet every day. You can increase your earnings significantly by watching Swagbucks TV each day while you’re working online — or
through their smartphone apps. All you have to do is sign up (thanks for signing up under my referral link!)

Bing Rewards is a lot like Swagbucks. By spending just a few minutes per day, you can easily earn a $5 Amazon gift card every month. You start a free account and for every 2 searches using Bing, you earn points. You can earn 15 credits per day by searching (30 searches = 15 credits).

Points are redeemable for a whole list of prizes. You can get Amazon gift cards, Starbucks gift cards, Redbox rentals, and more! An Amazon gift card is only 475 credits — which makes it totally doable to earn one $5 Amazon gift card each month!

There are other daily deals and specials to do to earn extra points. Plus, the more lifetime points you earn the more privileges you get.

You will need a Facebook account, but the sign-up process takes less than a minute to complete.

Jingit is a newer income-earning program that pays you to watch videos online. You can also earn money for downloading the mobile app, scanning items at Walmart, and answering a couple of questions.
I've been doing it for only a couple of days, and I've already earned a couple of dollars. Really only takes about 2-5 minutes to check in every morning, some times you have videos to watch and other times you don't. I also downloaded the app. I noticed that if I go to Walmart (planning on that tomorrow), and scan items, I can easily make a few more dollars.

Stay tuned... I have more ideas to share with you soon!

Today's Tidbits- free music!

MORE FREE MUSIC! Amazon is offering another free $2 MP3 credit! In addition, there are over 20,000 MP3s for $0.69 each.  Have fun choosing!

Works for me Wednesday- Clutter is gone!

So remember my August Challenge awhile back? Well everything that I had gotten rid off, went into a big pile in my garage. This last weekend I finally had a chance to take it all to Goodwill, this is what it looked like:

6 bags of clothes, 3 boxes of kitchen stuff, 3 boxes of toys, a desk chair, a stereo and an xbox. There are also shoes, a dog leash and vases. Lighting fixtures, decortive items and more. I can't believe I had all that cluttering up my home! But now its's gone and I feel better. I think I will do something like this at least once a year.
What do you think?

I have a confession...

I have a confession to make, I have NEVER decorated for fall before. Oh I would put out the pumpkins the kids had carved or something like that, but this year I decided to go all out. I went to Joann's Fabric and got this really cool scarecrow. (It was 1/2 price!) I got some small pumpkins and a few other odds and ends that I had laying around the place.

I also went to the dollar store and got these miniature gourds and used a candy dish I had on hand to create this centerpiece.

Thanks to Pintrest, I wanted to try my hand at painting pumpkins. I had some white paint on hand and I made a letter M and taped it on. I spray painted the pumpkin and when it was dry I peeled off the M, now I have a monogrammed pumpkin!

Last but not least I got a fall themed tablecloth from the dollar store and taped it to my front door.
sorry, I couldn't get the picture to turn.. My door is really vertical, not horizontal! LOL!

All in all I feel like it turned out great!

Super Savings Saturday

It's been quite a while since I did a Super Savings Saturday. It's probably because I haven't found any FABULOUS deals to share with you lately. I find ok deals, but not great ones, but today I found a great one!

A couple of weeks ago, there was a BOGO coupon for Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner, I had two of them. Today at Winco, I found Herbal Essence for $1.98 each. I got 4, paid for 2 and only paid $3.96. That came to $.99 a bottle!  Great price for shampoo!

Works for Me Wednesday

When I plant my flowers in the spring, I leave the little tags telling you what kind of flower is there. That way, in the fall when I clean out my garden I can gather up tags and it is a visual reminder of what grew well and what didn't. And also what I liked and didn't. I keep those tags with my gardening information until next spring so I know what plants to buy again next year.
That's What Works for Me!
