Wanna get more bang for your buck? Try using products for more than just what they where intended for.
Take cereal boxes. You pay a HUGE price for cereal and sometimes I feel like the box is 3/4 full. How about using the box and the liner? You cut up the box and use it as a placemat under messy craft projects or cover with contact paper or old scrapbook paper and make this:

The cereal liners can be used in place of wax paper.
Carefully pull the seams apart and you will have a length of liner paper for cooking, baking, lining shelves. Liners can be cut or torn in to squares and use to cover items placed into the microwave.
And how about those big wide bands you find on bunches of asparagus and broccoli? Save them and use to help you open stubborn jar lids.
